Eugene Sprinkler Service will perform the Spring Activation Service in March thru May and the Winter Shut Down Service in October or November. All services are provided depending on the weather and preference of customer. Services requiring specific date or time should be scheduled at least 30 days in advance.
Sprinkler Activation Service:
$120 plus parts

- Activation of your residential irrigation system in Spring for Summer watering.
- Inspection of the entire irrigation system, including sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, and controllers.
- Adjusting and programming the irrigation controller for optimal water efficiency.
- Testing each zone to ensure proper operation and coverage.Identification and reporting of any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Raising heads, adjusting flow and small repairs can be done at time of service, up to one hour. Additional costs will incur for additional labor beyond one hour and for all parts.
Sprinkler Winterization Service:
$75 flat fee

- Deactivation of the residential irrigation system for the Winter.
- Proper Winterizaton of the backlow prevention device.
- Draining water from the irrigation lines and components to prevent freezing and damage.
- Shutting off the main water supply to the irrigation system.
- Winterizing the irrigation controller.
- Providing recommendations for winter maintenance and any necessary repairs or replacements.
If you are interested in Winterizing your own backflow, please verify you do so properly to prevent damage. We replace hundreds of backflow devices each Spring because homeowners or misinformed yard care providers skip this very important step. A proper Winterization is $75 while a replacement costs between $350 – $750 depending on the type of device.
